It's hard to believe 2007 is history and we are already planning for a busy 2008.

First of all we want to thank all of the pastors who allowed us the privilege of ministering in your churches this past year. We do not take these opportunities lightly and we thank you for trusting us to share the good news of Jesus Christ with your congregations. It has been a joy for us to be able to go back to many places where we have sung for years and renew acquaintances with many old friends. In addition it was a pleasure in 2007 to sing in many new venues and meet new brothers and sisters in Christ. We thank God for each and every one of you.

We started 2007 by recording two new CD's with Tim Schwindt of River Music Productions in London, Ontario. (www.rivermusicproductions.com). We were thrilled with the projects that Tim produced for us. Both "The Journey" and "Memories" are filled with songs that proclaim a variety of Bible based truths that are both inspiring and encouraging.

Both CD's are Southern Gospel style and feature songs that have been a personal blessing to us as a group. Our prayer is that each song will bless you our listeners as much as they have blessed us.

In September 2007, we were privileged to host a booth at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky and sing at a couple of afternoon matinees. We met so many wonderful people and thank each one who dropped by our booth to say hello.

Special thanks to Danny Howell, from Georgia, who hosts America's Home Spun Gospel. (www.homespungospel.net) Danny featured The Chapelaires on his program during the week of NQC 2007. We look forward to working with Danny at one of his matinees during NQC 2008.

Also thank you to Rob Patz of Southern Gospel Music Radio (www.sgmradio.com) who featured one of our singles "Take it to the Lord and Leave it There" in August 2007. Because of this program, Robert Walker of Your Hometown Gospel Radio Station FM 98.3 in Oceana, West Virginia heard our song and now plays our music regularly on his program. Thanks to these special friends, our songs are now being heard not only in Southern Ontario but all across the United States and beyond.

We are booking now for 2008 and look forward to what God has in store for this year. We do plan to be back at NQC and will be taking part in a couple of afternoon showcases. More details will follow in the coming months.

On a personal note, David and Myrna Hand sold the family homestead and have moved into London to be closer to their girl's schools and their home church. Larry continues to drive transport (daily trips to Kentucky) and we thank God for His continued protection of Larry on the road. Sheila will be retiring later this year and Dave continues to hint that he too would like to retire. All kidding aside, Dave will stay working as an electrician for a few more years.

We want to especially thank Jim and Darlene McDonald from Rodney who are with us at almost every booking. Darlene and Jim pack up our equipment so we can take time to talk to you our friends at the end of the concert. We pray that God will richly bless them for their servant hearts and faithful ministry.

We continue to be blessed by your notes of encouragement. Thanks to each one of you who have contacted us to let us know that our ministry has made a difference in your lives. We covet your prayers as we continue to sing for our Lord.

May God richly bless you and your families this year and until we are together for all eternity.
